A brief introduction

I am currently working on a multiplayer FPS game at Splash Damage, where I am leading a gameplay team of 5 and line managing 2 people. In my career, I have worked on titles, such as:

My background

A senior gameplay programmer with nearly 9 years of experience and Master's degree in Games and Media Technology; writing code since the age of 13. Creative, motivated, responsible, conscientious and attentive to detail; with a passion for gameplay and game mechanics.

Games have always been my passion, being able to create my own - my dream. I started with HTML and JavaScript, later learning PHP and MySQL on my own in my spare time. I even wrote my very first game in these languages.

I grew up in Slovakia and I became passionate about video games before I could speak decent enough English to understand any dialogs in them. Thus I focused on the gameplay instead. I had picked games that were fun to play anyway, such as: Crash Bandicoot, Warcraft 3, Age of Empires, Counter-Strike, The Need for Speed, Unreal Tournament, or GTA. This later resulted in my passion for gameplay and game mechanics.
